Pune has always been famous for its lush green parks. One can
relax away from the maddening crowd and relax with the family and
friends in the parks of Pune. The city was long lived by Peshwas,
Mughals and Britishers. The gardens here also reflect different
architecture of the three rulers of Pune.
The diversity in these gardens come from their originations, the
different rulers left their impressions in these gardens as well.
The Bund Gardens, next to the river, is a popular place in the
evening to take a walk. The Express Botanical Gardens is also nice.
There is a zoo nearby. In Peshwa Park is the Saras Baug and Ganesh
Temple.
