Popularly known as Soldier's Garden, it is a botanical Park
located very close to Pune Race Course. The park was originally a
property of Sardar Vithalrao Purandhare and General Finjer used to
manage it.
The garden is much famous for its fine tropical trees and a small
zoo. The total approximate area of this garden is fifty-nine acres
and the chief product of the garden are mangoes, tamarind and cut
flowers, is a perfect place for picnics.
The garden is located next to Pune-Solapur Road.
