Reaching Pune from Delhi International Airport :
Most of the international flights terminate at International Airports in Delhi and Mumbai. If you arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, you can take connecting flights to Pune from Domestic Airport. There is a free shuttle service between the International Airport and the Domestic Airport.

Reaching Pune from Mumbai International Airport :
If you arrive directly at Mumbai Airport, the journey will be bit easy. Since Pune is at a distance of about 200km from Mumbai, people prefer taking the road tour to Pune. You can reach Pune via road within 4 hours. The charges are also as cheap as Rs.500/- per passenger.

The other suitable option is to hire a taxi or a cab which is mostly available as cheap as Rs2500/- to Rs. 4000/- depending upon your needs and requirements. But we discourage taxi drives during nights. Take precations.

Railway journey from Mumbai to Pune is a pleasant experience but only if you have made and advance booking. Getting current bookings is very difficult so if you are planning to take a rail route please make sure that you have advance tickets.

Upon reaching Pune :
You can choose a better accommodation for yourself at some of the hotels according to your budget and requirements. Some of the hotels provide sightseeing facilities with their own travel agents and guides. They will take your journey further and make your trip at leisure. Else you can chose Pune buses or auto rickshaws running within the city, which very well connect to many tourist attractions.
