Pimpri Chinchwad

This place, located at the center of the city, holds one of the biggest industrial center in Asia. The place is home for world renowned companies like Bajaj-Auto, Bajaj Tempo and Telco Kinetic. Three rivers Mula, Mutha and Prayani, cover the reign in three directions and even meet here.

The city is 530 ft in high from the sea shore. There has been a great debate on the historical background of the city. Some scholars suggest that this city does not have any historic base while others believe the opposite and advocate the fact that people are unaware of its history. One of the most important village of Pimpri Chinchwad is Bhosari. The real name of Bhosari is Bhojapuri which was the capital of king Bhoj. It is later known as Bhosari after that it is Bhosari.
