Kothrud

This place is among fastest growing suburbs in Asia. Situated on Karve Road and Paul Road, this township was virtually inhabited a decade back. In the mid-90’s with the real estate boom, this area today primarily is a residential area with shopping complexes, restaurants and ever-building houses.

Its population comprises of Maharashtrians and student population. Many of the residential complexes, today refuse renting of flats to Students. Colleges like MIT and Cummins College of Engineering for Women are the prime educational institutes in this area.
