Aundh

Aundh includes the area of Aundh, Baner, Pune University and Khadki. The area of Aundh grew phenomenally earlier last decade with land prices very high. Today, it is primarily a residential area with a number of townships and housing colonies. Khadki, one of old areas in Pune, has a number of defense establishments and also has the Mumbai-Pune Highway. The Baner Road leads to the Chatrapati Sports City, Balewadi. Pashan Road, though inhabited in a number of its stretches leads to Chandni Chowk and NDA further on.

Commuting from areas like Ammunition Factory in Khadki, one wouldn't find many autorickshaws here. Aundh again till the areas of Parihar Chowk and university is very well connected. Extreme Aundh areas like Sanghvi and vicinity have buses up and down but one ought to know the timings, as the services are less frequent. Six-seaters and buses ply easily to Ramnagar, Chandni Chowk and vicinity till NDA. Cyber culture is pretty prevelant in the Aundh with many cyber cafes. Khadki has a couple of them.
