Pune, often called as the Queen of Deccan is located 160km to the south east of the Maharshtra. The city is situated at the western margins of Deccan Plateau, leeward side of Sahyandri hills and Western Ghats. The city is at a height of 560m above the sea level at the confluence of Mula and Mutha rivers. The climate is pleasant here and the city has 700sq km of Urban area. Pune is managed and administered by Pune Municipal Corporation {PMC}. In order to ensure convenient administration Pune has been divided into five main reigns; central, east, west,north and south.
